Artist's Description

E pluribus unum is the motto suggested by the committee Congress appointed on July 4, 1776 to design "a seal for the United States of America." the motto E pluribus unum alludes to the union between the states and federal government, as symbolized by the shield on the eagle's breast. The thirteen stripes "represent the several states all joined in one solid compact entire, supporting a Chief, which unites the whole & represents Congress."
Morgan Ddollars were produced at five different mints: Philadelphia (no mint mark), Carson City Nevada (CC), New Orleans (O), Denver (D) and San Francisco (S). Not all coins were produced at all mints in all years. As illustrated in the picture below, the mint mark is located on the reverse of the coin, just below the the bow in the wreath.

About Michelle Frizzell-Thompson

Michelle Frizzell-Thompson

Memories via photographs have always been a large part of my life. Having six children, ranging in age from 8 to 26, there have been many memories to capture! Besides taking pictures of my loved ones, I find peace and solitude in capturing the beauty all around us. From the golden colors of the aspen trees in Colorado, to the snow topped mountains, waterfalls, to clouds in all shapes and sizes. I love to capture all the blessings God has surrounded us with. As I've gotten older and wiser my faith continues to grow through each step taken through our beautiful world. I am hoping that my passion will touch someones heart as it does mine.
