I live where this took place. And I thank you so much for posting this. We as a community are strong, but still are in need of God's mercy and Grace like never before. Thank you also for making this a charitable donation for the fire victims. V/F

Rebecca, I also saw flames from the south side and i still can't put into words how devestating and how helpless and sad everyone felt. I was going home from Manitou yesterday when a deer was staring at me from the side of the road. I feel for all scared wildlife and those that didn't make it down the mountian :(

This is very beautiful. My mother is on the East side of Colorado Springs. She said that she could see the flames from her back yard. It is truly sad. I will be there in a few weeks. My heart goes out to all & we cant forget about the animals also.
